Care and Prayer

Deacons are the hands and heart of the church. They minister to people who are in need: the sick, the hurting, and those in distress both inside and outside the church family. Deacons get to know church members in a deeper way and strive to create community within local neighborhoods.

Many of our Deacons are also trained to serve communion to our homebound members.

We all need prayer. Prayer is a primary way we connect with God and grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus. In prayer, we talk to God and listen for God’s still, small voice in return.

On Sunday mornings let an greater, a pastor, or a member of our hospitality team know that you would like to receive prayer or pray with someone. We have a prayer room off the sanctuary, and we consider it a privilege to pray with/for you. There are also prayer request cards in the pews.

We also have a prayer chain consisting of people within our congregation who are committed to praying for others. Prayer requests are kept confidential if requested.
