Mending Wings

Do you not know?  Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.  Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Dancing our Prayers is a wonderful opportunity for us to experience God’s presence in a new and different way.  This Sunday, we will host the Mending Wings ministry, a Mission Partner of the Northwest Coast Presbytery.  Rev. Corey Greaves leads this life-giving ministry to young men and women from the Yakama Nation, encouraging them to experience God’s love and grace in connection with their heritage and native culture.  I pray that you join us this Sunday as we learn from these young people and grow in our understanding of God’s work and God’s love.
