Our purpose is to equip youth to be lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ who participate in Christ’s mission at KFPC, in the Tri-Cities, and throughout the world. To that end, we provide a variety of unique opportunities for youth 6th-12th to experience Christian community and grow in their relationship with God:
Sunday school for middle and high school students runs September – May during our designated Sunday school hour (9:45-10:45 AM). All youth meet in the Youth Room (204). Youth are encouraged to attend worship with their families for friends, and we encourage youth to participate in worship as praise band members, choir members, Scripture readers and more!
Our youth groups are a great place to get connected, have fun, meet Jesus, and learn more about the Christian life. We have two youth groups:
– Our middle school youth group for youth 6th-8th grades. YB’s meets on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:30 PM in First Pres Center for food, fun, a short talk and small group break-outs.
– Our high school youth group for youth 9th-12th grades. LYFE meets on Sunday evenings from 4 – 6 PM in First Pres Center for food, fun, teaching and discussion
Sometimes we plan special youth group events or service projects. Occasionally, we take a week or two off. The following is this month’s youth group schedule!
