Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Philippians 4:6)

Prayer is a way to move through life with peace in our hearts. Prayer is a tool which we use to build our awareness of God within and to bring ourselves closer to God. Please contact us and we would be happy to pray with you.

Prayer Team
If you would like to receive prayer for any need, or you would like to pray with someone in person, we are here for you. During the week please stop by or call the office at 582-9537. On Sunday mornings just let an usher, a pastor, or an Information Island volunteer know that you would like to receive prayer or pray with someone. We have a prayer room off the foyer, right beside the main doors, and we consider it a privilege to pray with/for you. If you are interested in joining our Prayer Team.

Prayer Chain
The Prayer Chain is a group of First Pres members and friends who pray for those who have submitted individual prayer requests by emailing the prayer chain coordinator or calling the office. Prayer requests are kept confidential if requested. Requests for prayer can be sent to Prayers@kfpc.org. To subscribe to the prayer chain so you can receive messages to pray for others, send an email to PrayerList-subscribe@kfpc.org.

Prayer Shawls
The prayer shawl group has the unique gift of encircling others with love and prayer through knitting. As the knitter knits the shawl, he or she prays for the person who will receive it, even if we don’t know who the recipient will be. The shawl is to remind them of God’s love and care.

National Day Of Prayer
First Pres members actively participate in the National Day Of Prayer.
