Brief History
Effort began over 8 years ago to meet identified facility needs, led by Session and assisted, most recently, by the more than 60 member Vision 2006 (now 2007)– Building for the Future – Team. Original design prepared by the Architect in spring 2006 was judged too costly. A significant joint effort by the Design Review Team, the Architect, and the Construction Contractor has revised and "value-engineered" the design so as to be financially feasible, without any loss of functionality or flexibility. The Congregation overwhelmingly approved the final scope and design in August 2006. (Return to top)
