At First Presbyterian Church, we have a vision of being "A Christ-centered church where every member has a ministry." We believe our church's mission is to advance the Kingdom of God through worship, love and ministry.
First Presbyterian Church has a congregation active in many, many areas of ministry. Please take a look into the Ministry Teams. The church is governed by its Session and is divided into 7 parishes served by the Deacons. Our great staff (see the list) is the glue that holds it together.
We are proud of our long history having just celebrated our 100th anniversary in 2003. We have been greatly blessed over the last many years with continued membership growth.
As a Presbyterian congregation, we are a connectional church and maintain close ties with the Presbytery of Central Washington and the Synod of Alaska-Northwest. At the national level, we are one of thousands of churches in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
