Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries

We are now seeking a creative, passionate, and spiritually maturing person to develop and lead a sustainable youth ministry that equips KFPC youth to be lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. In addition, this person will work to build our ministry to and engagement with college-age young adults (~ ages 18-25). Depending upon the interests and gifts of the director, this person will also either serve as the praise band leader for our contemporary worship service or as a communications specialist, with a primary emphasis on managing and maintaining the church’s website and social media presence.

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree, with a degree in ministry, theology, education, or a related field preferred.  Two or more years of experience working with youth in a Christian setting is preferred, and a solid understanding of and appreciation for Reformed theology is desirable.

Someone who has a deep and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, a heart for youth/young adult outreach, a desire to mentor & teach young people, and who possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with staff and volunteers of various ages, abilities and backgrounds would be a great fit for our church.
